State Tournament 2004

The 2004 Wisconsin State Tournament was held March 13th at Edgewood College in Madison. Congratulations to participating teams! Here are the scores.

Ranatra Fusca winners
Bangor Middle/High School #32144 Envirover Div III team won a Ranatra for the uniqueness of the design of their vehicle. They used parts of a tread mill to turn gears and in result turned the wheels of their vehicle. This propulsion system and use of human energy was a rarity and was great to see. Great Job!

Highland School #14186 Fantastic Art Div III team won a Ranatra for outstanding creativity for:

• The player piano that mysteriously played the exact note sequences as the song playing in the background, exhibiting terrific design and attention to detail.
• The bust created from an actual team member.
• The picture that turned into a shadow when the character came alive.
• The team member that learned sign language just for the performance.
