Good Afternoon everyone!
I hope this finds you and your teams well and ready to show off your creativity! We are now less than two weeks away from our Saturday, March 18, 2023, State Tournament at Madison College! Below you will find information regarding this year's event.

2023 Wisconsin State Tournament Information
  1. The tournament schedule is now set! Check it out!
  2. Judges will be notified by their problem captains with information regarding their assignments. 
  3. Please check the state's website for up-to-date information regarding the tournament. Here is the link.
  4. Pins and Odyssey of the Mind merchandise will be available on the site.
  5. All team members may participate in Spontaneous.
  6. The first-place finisher in each problem will be invited to World Finals. Awards will be given to the top 3 teams at the State Tournament.

  8. Certificates for Odyssey team members can be downloaded from the State Tournament website. This will become available during the week of the tournament.

8:00 -11:00 Judge’s training on-site
10:00 PM -2:00  Spontaneous Competition.
11:30 PM -2:30 Long-Term Problem Competition
3:00 Award Ceremony (approximately) in Mitby Theater

Ranatra Fusca Award Winners
The Ranatra Fusca Award, named for the water strider insect, promotes and recognizes exceptional creativity. This award represents the essence of the Odyssey of the Mind program. The Ranatra Fusca Award is given to teams or individuals who display tremendous creativity at competition. This award serves as an incentive for risk-taking and out-of-the-box thinking for Odyssey participants.

OMER's Award Winners
The OMER's Award is given to teams and individuals for showing Odyssey spirit. This includes teams and team members, or anyone involved with the competition. It can be someone who showed some type of artistic talent, good sportsmanship, teamwork, or even for going beyond expectations to help others. An OMER's Award is given to anyone who serves as an outstanding example of Odyssey spirit through their words or actions.
