Tournament Details!
Pre-Tournament Information We are excited for the return of the onsite State Odyssey of the Mind Tournament! Please register your team for the Wisconsin State Tournament by visiting the members area of the Odyssey of the Mind headquarter's website. We will not be charging a state fee this year in appreciation of having you back! Each team is responsible to provide one judge for the state tournament. Competition Site Map NEW! 9:30 -11:00 Judge’s training on-site 10:00 PM -3:30 Spontaneous Competition. 11:30 PM -3:30 Long Term Problem Competition 4:00 Award Ceremony COVID Protocol Taking care of our Odyssey of the Mind family is our number one priority. To ensure a safe environment for all, masks will be required at all competition sites. However, teams will be allowed to perform without their mask. We will have many mitigation strategies in place such as masking, spacing, and sanitizer readily available. Other Updates -Merchandise, pins, and food will be available on site. -All team members may participate in Spontaneous. -All teams are invited to World Finals. Will recognize the top 3 teams at the State Tournament. |

- MUST INCLUDE VENUE (MADISON COLLEGE)
- MUST BE DESIGNED WITH THIS YEAR'S THEME IN MIND (MEET THE MOMENT- which means to use creativity and innovation to solve the problems of today)
- INCLUDE YOUR NAME/SIGNATURE ON DESIGN
- IT CAN BE DONE BY HAND OR DIGITALLY.
- KEEP IN MIND THE FINAL PROGRAM WILL BE PRINTED IN BLACK AND WHITE INK.
- SUBMIT A PDF OR JPEG OF YOUR PROGRAM DESIGN BY USING THE LINK BELOW.

Ranatra Fusca Award Winners
The Ranatra Fusca Award, named for the water strider insect, promotes and recognizes exceptional creativity. This award represents the essence of the Odyssey of the Mind program. The Ranatra Fusca Award is given to teams or individuals who display tremendous creativity at competition. This award serves as an incentive for risk-taking and out-of-the-box thinking for Odyssey participants.

The OMER's Award is given to teams and individuals for showing Odyssey spirit. This includes teams and team members, or anyone involved with the competition. It can be someone who showed some type of artistic talent, good sportsmanship, teamwork, or even for going beyond expectations to help others. An OMER's Award is given to anyone who serves as an outstanding example of Odyssey spirit through their words or actions.
